Our client is a Finnish company with headquarters in Helsinki. Founded in 2015, it is one of the first companies in the Nordics which deal with process automation. Up until now, our client had its departments in two cities: Helsinki and Stockholm.
The company’s aim is to automate the processes and routines related to computer-based knowledge work. Nowadays, automation as well as robotization is extremely important as it allows the employees of various companies to devote their time to more productive tasks. Process automation makes it possible for employees to focus on important responsibilities instead of performing tedious and routine activities. From now on those tasks and activities will be done by digital workers who work much faster and do not make any mistakes.
Currently the company is undergoing a dynamic development and by the end of 2017 it plans to reach the mark of over 100 employees. In order to achieve this number of workers, our client decided to open its first department in Łódź, making it one of the first companies in Poland which focus on robotic process automation only. Sowelo Consulting managers and client’s recruitment heads had previously worked together on various projects and achieved great results. This prompted the company to use our recruitment services in reaching their goal.
We aimed to give our client a satisfying outcome in the shortest possible time. We started by applying standard recruitment methods, i.e. direct search of candidates with relevant professional qualifications who meet client’s requirements. In addition to that, we also worked with universities in Łódź and provided the company with special services – Interim Recruitment and Employer Branding.
- Interim Recruitment means providing short-term assistance of an experienced recruiter, who would be responsible for recruitment process at the client’s company. It is a great option for the firm that is undergoing some major changes or is opening a new office in another country. Instead of looking for somebody inside the company to fill the recruiter position, Sowelo Consulting offers a ready-made solution and provides an immediate result. Our designated recruiter is in constant contact with the client and is involved in the whole process.
- Additionally, we used Employer Branding which is building an employer’s brand and image on the market. We directed this service mainly to potential future employees of the client. In order to have candidates interested in the company’s business activity, we published articles regarding automation on Sowelo Consulting blog and LinkedIn. Those articles had links to relevant job advertisements for people to apply. We also prepared a special video which presented the company’s offer to potential candidates. Those measures allowed us to create a positive image of the company as a reliable and trustworthy employer with excellent future prospects and opportunities for career development.
- Our client was looking for young, energetic people who are interested in automation and robotization, therefore we established a cooperation with the biggest universities in Łódź – University of Technology, University of Łódź, University of Humanics and Economics, University of Social Sciences and College of Finances and Informatics.
In less than a month we provided the client with over 30 profiles of potential candidates. Over 85% of applications were positively reviewed. 26 candidates were invited for face-to-face interviews. Thanks to Sowelo Consulting our client has hired 16 people already and is satisfied with the quality of services provided.

Our client, an American company with a longstanding tradition, offers solutions in the areas of software, drive technology and steering. Additionally, it delivers its own products and services, which are used daily by other international companies in various industries. The company provides its clients with consulting, technical support, repairing and maintenance and complex systems.
The company has its divisions in many countries around the world and one of such divisions is located in Silesian District in Poland. The Centre in Katowice is responsible for working on a wide range of products in the field of embedded software and desktop applications. The software is later used to control and create visualizations of technological processes and to gather and analyse data from production lines. The Centre works on innovative projects and is responsible for the entire software development process, from gathering requirements to presenting the finished product on the market.
Cooperation between the client and Sowelo Consulting began in 2009 when the company became one of Sowelo’s first ever clients. We had been given a trial project which we successfully carried out. The client’s satisfaction with our services resulted in a long-term cooperation which continues to this day. Thanks to our work, the client has employed more than 100 people for positions such as: Embedded and Desktop Software Developer, Embedded Software Tester, Hardware Engineer, Tech Lead, Director of IT Campus, Senior Operations Manager, Network Engineer, Business Analyst, Project Manager, Embedded Firmware Engineering Manager and Configuration Manager.
In 2016 the company decided to invest in a dynamic development and, among other things, significantly raise the number of employees. Our client needed a large number of engineers and testers of both embedded software and desktop applications on several levels of professional experience: from students of last year of university, through seniors to project managers – people with over seven years of experience and previous know-how of technical team leadership. Perfect candidates had to have knowledge of embedded software, test automation, C++ language, real time operating systems, programming microprocessor peripherals, networking techniques (Ethernet, TCP/IP), industrial controllers and multiprocessor systems. In addition to developers and testers, our client was also looking for candidates for the positions of DevOps Engineer, Software Product Specialist/Architect, User Experience Designer, Scrum Master, Business Analyst and SAP Developer.
We always devote the most of our time and effort to projects and we are constantly striving to achieve the set goals. Thanks to our services, in the past 12 months our client employed 34 developers and testers and we are constantly providing new candidates for those positions.
Case no. 3
Our client is an American company which offers business services and solutions. It operates in the outsourcing model – it cooperates with other companies by providing them with experienced programmers, testers and managers. Thanks to our client, many companies can create software and solutions which have a great impact on business processes, production and financial services. Currently the company has about 22000 employees around the world. Its clients include companies related to media, banking, finances, modern technologies, tourism and medical care. In 2015 the firm was ranked in the top ten on Fortune’s list of 100 fastest growing IT companies.
The task that was probably the most important and the most challenging for us was to find the right candidate for the position of Delivery Manager. This person was to be responsible for establishing the department in Katowice and later for supervising it. The candidate that the client was looking for had to have experience in programming, managing software development department in international corporate environment and in volume recruitment of software engineers. Delivery Manager was to be responsible for the final stage of recruitment of new employees, managing the whole centre in Katowice and overseeing the service delivery processes. The client’s aim was to employ a person who started their career as a software developer or tester and then worked as Software Development Manager. In two months we provided the company with over ten suitable profiles of candidates. We had successfully completed the project and the client employed one of candidates presented by us who has been working for the company since May 2016.
These projects resulted in the employment of 12 people whose profiles we delivered to the client in a short period of time.

Our client’s company is one of the fastest growing organizations in the field of sales performance management in North America. It cooperates with the best partners in the industry and its main objective is to deliver the highest quality of services. The company offers solutions which enable organizations to increase their revenue, improve margins and reduce costs by automating the sales processes.
In 2015 the firm had the best year so far in terms of revenue and development, therefore our client decided to expand to Europe and open new offices in London and Kraków. The company recognized a high demand for their services in Europe and wanted to expand further beyond North America. Both offices, planned to be opened in May 2016, were to serve customers from all major sectors: financial services, medical equipment, insurance, modern technologies, industrial manufacturing and business services.
Our client was looking for an experienced General Manager to run the office in Kraków, supervise a team of consultants, cooperate with management in Canada and be responsible for presales processes. Candidates had to meet a number of specific requirements: have more than 10 years of experience in programming or systems analysis, over 8 years of experience in team management and know sales processes in several industries.
